They talked science at each other. Crazy science. Science of forensics, of deduction, of evolution. Beverly would ask after Sherlock, and Joan would worry about Will. Both would tease Cosima about Delphine until the poor girl’s face was as red as the coat she wore.

It always ended with a toast.

you know, Eleven never quite made sense to me (it always seems like the writers are just throwing in random gags and not giving him a continuous personality) but this explains him really well
